Blast Cleaning

We can offer four different types of blast cleaning, using different blast media, depending on the required finish.

Garnet which is used for all types of material
Aluminium oxide generally used for stainless steel, aluminium and brass
Chilled iron which is used for mild steel
Glass bead used on stainless steel, aluminium and brass gives a satin gloss appearance, widely used in the food industry

We can provide a coarse profile of 75-100 microns, down to 25-40 microns. The lower profile is particularly attractive to our powder coating customers, as it enables them to give their usual standard of finish.
